Applications of Demag Process Cranes Demag process cranes have been used in many different settings: • Their overhead cranes have been used extensively in the aviation industry • Double girder Demag cranes are used in furniture storage warehouses • Their wall-mounted jib cranes can be used for industrial repairs Industrial Overhead Cranes Demag Cranes excels in the design and manufacture of overhead cranes – especially overhead travelling cranes (OHTCs). Their extensive range includes: • Single girder cranes. This OHTC comes with either rope hoists or rolled steel sections. The rolled steel components make this OHTC ideal for easy lifting of light loads. The rope hoists allow for improved load handling. • Double girder crane. Another OHTC, but with a much higher hook height than the single girder cranes. This durable design allows for a large SWL. • Suspension cranes AKA underhung / underslung cranes. The suspension crane normally relies on a single girder structure and is suspended from the ceiling to allow maximum use of floor space in a workshop.
